This program is quick and informative. Great reference application. Pesticide levels are a great addition.
With more fruits/vegetables this is a 5 star app. (next release?)
Ive had this App for a couple of weeks now and find it to be quite a handy little App to have when I shop for produce. Another thing I found to be truly great was the customer service, the Developer was quick to respond to my request and in a very curtious and positive manner.
I look forward to seeing what the new update will add to an already great App! Keep up the the good work!
I just bought this app and I have been reading thru it...cant wait to go shopping and eat fruit and veggies that are ripe and taste good!
I am really enjoying this app. Great for those of us who are unsure of ourselves near the produce section. Works fine. Info is clear and easy to access
Harvest is handy when buying produce. It helps you pick the best produce, and a feature I particularly like, it gives you an indicaton of the amount of pesticides in it. It is a well-designed, attractive app. Additionally, I contacted the developer with a minor suggestion and was quite impressed with his responsiveness.
Very useful app with all the info I would think is necessary.
Some bad moments
Well I bought it SO excited and guess what? IT IS ONLY FOR THE UNITED STATES. Great, this was such a waste of money.
I hope they change it soon...
I dont understand good reviews. It is December and it tells me snap peas are in season. It says peak is spring and early summer. Says this for Arizona and Massachusetts. Cant get any answers from support.
Very little in season info for most months and some had nothing listed. With all the fruits and veggies out there and what I get in my CSA this is absolutely not true. They should have done more research & add tons more before having this as a feature. Wish I hadnt bought it.
Purchased this app, however I was disappointed at the lack of correct information based on the area in which you live and the app states that certain produce are in season year round, when anybody that knows anything about produce knows that is wrong. Just because some produce is available year round doesnt make it "in season". This app also does not list all produce in accordance with your region, for example I live in California where we have watermelon its seasonal however watermelon isnt even listed in California. Anyways purchase at your own risk, the information needs a lot of updating and research done to make it a viable app at this point.
